About The Position

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach to join its Athletic Department. This role is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the baseball program, including player development, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with USCAA rules. The Assistant Coach will also promote the academic success of student-athletes and represent the college in a professional manner.

Requirements

Baseball coaching experience at the high school level or above.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and leadership skills.
Must be able to serve as a positive role model for young adults.
Clean driving record and a valid Driver License.

Bachelor’s Degree
Baseball coaching experience at the college level
College recruiting experience
Familiar with the Buffalo area high schools and club teams
First aid/CPR certification
Familiarity with USCAA rules and regulations

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the baseball program.
Recruit players and hold tryouts.
Assist in coaching the intercollegiate soccer team.
Become knowledgeable of all The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) soccer rules, including student-athlete eligibility requirements.
Travel with the team unless alternate arrangements have been approved.
Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times as representatives of the College.
Supervise staff and student-athletes while traveling to ensure their safety.
Promote the academic success of student-athletes by monitoring academic performance and encouraging high academic standards.
Assist with scheduling, organizing, supervising, and conducting all practices and games.
May be required to drive vans to baseball games.
Other duties may be assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
