About The Position
Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator. Performs direct patient care duties as assigned. Triage and rooming of patients. Provides for patient safety. Possesses the ability to perform day-to-day clerical tasks and related duties. Participates in ongoing educational activities. Completes assigned goals.
Requirements
- Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
- Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
- Computer literacy.
- Maintain Certification
- Certified by the a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year experience.
- Phlebotomy experience
