Our team is growing: Provide's Marketing team is looking for a bold, compassionate, and focused Assistant Marketing Manager to serve as the end-to-end owner of Provide's event strategy and execution. In this role, you will focus on trade show logistics and coordination, partner and internal events, and branded collateral and vendor management. As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. You will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the risk appetites of Provide and Fifth Third Bank, you will be expected to achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. We operate with a remote-flexible model. Our office is available whenever you need it, and we come together in person a few times a month to connect as a team.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in event coordination or marketing operations, with a track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines, and partnering with a sales team
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues while working independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, particularly in managing logistics, vendor communications, and financial documentation
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams, with clear and proactive communication habits across email, Slack, and other collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with expense reporting and invoice management processes, including tools such as Concur or Workday
  • Genuine enthusiasm for representing a brand in public-facing settings, including trade shows and partner events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing trade show logistics specifically, including exhibitor portals, certificate of insurance submissions, and advance warehouse shipping coordination
  • Familiarity with branded merchandise platforms or print vendor management
  • Knowledge of Provide's target markets, including small business ownership, franchise, or healthcare finance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, from venue sourcing and invitation creation to on-site logistics and post-event follow-up communications
  • Manage trade show participation end-to-end, including exhibitor registration, booth logistics, badge assignments, shipping coordination, and on-site brand representation
  • Collaborate with referral sources, external partners, and internal stakeholders to align on guest lists, event timelines, and run-of-show details
  • Oversee branded collateral and swag ordering through our vendor partner, managing timelines, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure materials are ready ahead of every event
  • Submit and track all event-related expenses and invoices through Concur and Workday, ensuring accurate categorization and timely payment processing
  • Create on-brand slide decks and advertisements for trade show courses and speaking engagements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors, keeping Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Leadership aligned throughout the event lifecycle
  • Travel to trade shows to provide on-site marketing support as needed (once per quarter on average), representing the Provide brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
