About The Position

This role involves managing store operations, including equipment operation, stocking, product preparation, order taking, inventory management, and facility cleaning. Team members are provided with on-the-job training. Key skills include communication, basic math, cash handling, computer/touch screen operation, and navigation for deliveries. The job involves exposure to various work conditions, including temperature fluctuations, food odors, and potential hazards from equipment and surfaces. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and far/night vision for driving. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking for deliveries, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling carts, and occasional climbing. Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching are also frequent requirements. Driving for deliveries is a core duty, requiring good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for various tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.

  • Walking for short distances for short durations.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds).
  • Carrying large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray).
  • Pushing to move trays on dollies.
  • Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders.
  • Forward bending at the waist.
  • Crouching/Squatting occasionally.
  • Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward).
  • Driving specific job duties: Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
