About The Position

Reiss is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for its Bleecker Street store in New York. The role is responsible for ensuring the store delivers premium customer service, achieves targets, and maintains commercial and operational excellence. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, sales and profitability, team development, and operational processes, and deputizes for the Store Manager when they are absent. Reiss is a luxury brand with standalone stores, concessions, and franchise operations in more than 230 locations internationally, as well as online and through an app. Its retail teams aim to provide elevated customer service, maintain a distinctive store environment, and work together to exceed customer expectations and business goals. The listed base salary range is $68,000–$72,000.

Requirements

Previous retail management experience at a similar level.
A proven track record of increasing overall business performance.
A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service through a team.
Strong visual skills and commercial product management skills.
Ability to flex between customer service, operational, technical, and visual elements of the role.
Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Self-motivated, focused, and driven to achieve team and individual goals.
Strong people management skills, including the ability to bring out the best in a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
