About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. They must set the example for the crew and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from their team. Key areas of responsibility include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining perfect image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, managing transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and written with customers/co-workers over the phone and in person
  • Ability to safely drive own vehicle
  • Ability to navigate roads/maps, adverse terrain/stairs of delivery sites while carrying products
  • Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide accurately to make correct monetary change (may use calculator)
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders/stairs, stoop/bend, crouch/squatt, reach, grasp with hands to use machines-tools-equipment-work aids
  • Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures/conditions inside and outside
  • Transportation to/from work
