About The Position

This role is for an Assistant Manager position. The job involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. The position requires the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. Navigational skills are necessary for deliveries, including reading maps and locating addresses within a designated area, and navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings. The role also involves exposure to various work conditions, including temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Far vision and night vision are needed for driving. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing for most tasks, walking for short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks are continuous and require eye-hand coordination, including shaping dough, using a pizza peel and rolling cutter, and pinching to assemble boxes. Team members must be able to grasp various items. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Driving duties include delivering product by car to the customer's door and delivering flyers. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Standing for most tasks.
Walking for short distances for short durations.
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carrying large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray).
Pushing trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 pounds).
Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Forward bending at the waist.
Crouching/Squatting occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching continuously; up, down and forward.
Driving.
Eye-hand coordination is essential.
Use of hands is continuous during the day.
Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough.
Manipulate a pizza peel.
Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
