About The Position

Drybar is hiring an Assistant General Manager / Lead Bartender to help lead daily salon operations, drive sales performance, and create an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves leading a team, enjoys sales, and understands how to create an elevated guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Requirements

Leadership experience in salon, retail, hospitality, or service-based sales
Strong sales mindset with the ability to coach others in memberships, retail, and guest loyalty
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to lead with confidence, urgency, and professionalism
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience with salon software (MindBody experience is a plus)
Cosmetology industry experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily salon operations
Lead the front-of-house team and set the tone for guest experience excellence
Drive salon performance through memberships, retail sales, pre-booking, and guest retention
Coach and motivate stylists and bartenders to achieve individual and team goals
Help recruit, train, and develop new team members
Manage daily sales goals, performance tracking, and accountability
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
Maintain operational standards, cleanliness, and brand consistency
Assist with scheduling, shift management, and team communication
Create a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork and accountability
