About The Position

Firehouse Subs is looking for motivated, dependable leaders who can help run a fast-paced restaurant while developing people, maintaining high standards, and driving results. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily operation of the restaurant. This position is responsible for supporting the General Manager in leading the team, controlling costs, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. We are looking for individuals who take ownership, lead by example, and thrive in a high-accountability environment.

Requirements

Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in real time
High level of accountability and attention to detail
Ability to coach and develop team members
Reliable, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Support daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, profitable shifts
Lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment
Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed, and guest service
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and accountability of team members
Help manage labor, food cost, inventory, and controllable expenses
Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, and applicable laws
Complete operational tasks, reports, and administrative duties accurately and on time
Support local community involvement and Public Safety Foundation initiatives
Communicate operational issues, staffing concerns, and opportunities directly to the General Manager/Ownership
Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and strong work ethic
