About The Position

The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the state's oldest non-profit agencies dedicated to uniting for Idaho's youth by providing accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience. This Assistant Store Manager position plays a crucial role in the success of our mission by contributing to the leadership of a team that collects, sorts, stocks, and sells donated items. The profits generated from these sales fund our Programs and Services, making them accessible to all youth in Idaho who need them. Team members enjoy a workplace that values relationships, commitment, growth, compassion, transparency, and joy.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years or older.
  • Be enrolled in High School or possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in retail or similar industry.
  • Have strong customer service skills, be able to WOW our customers!

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in general aspects of planning, development, and administration of thrift store operations.
  • Oversee and facilitate receiving and processing of donated items.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness and organization of listing and processing areas.
  • Assist with compiling daily sales and making bank deposits.
