About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including verbal and written abilities, to interact with customers and coworkers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for orders and change, computer/touch screen order entry, and good motor coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, and near/mid-range vision. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, maintain quality standards, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying deliveries up to 60 pounds, pushing trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and manipulation of various tools and products, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for dough shaping and pinching for box assembly. Tools and equipment used may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes product delivery via car, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Delivery personnel will also be exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product

Responsibilities

  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
