About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, and performing inventory and cleaning tasks. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and proficient use of computer keyboards or touch screens for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, exposure to food odors and dust, and working in cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting items up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Hand tasks require good eye-hand coordination, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment used include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses. Delivery personnel must navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, and may be required to climb stairs. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
