About The Position
The Assistant Manager helps lead the store team, provide excellent customer service, and keep daily store operations running smoothly. The role includes leading shifts, supporting food preparation and order accuracy, training employees, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, managing inventory and cash-handling tasks, and supporting the General Manager with staffing, scheduling, and store goals. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Restaurant or supervisory experience is preferred, and training is provided. Health insurance and a 401(k) are available subject to eligibility and plan terms. Management training and advancement opportunities to General Manager may be available based on performance and open positions.
Requirements

- Reliable attendance and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and assign tasks to team members.
- Take orders, prepare food, and ensure orders are accurate and on time.
- Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
- Train and coach employees on service, food preparation, and store procedures.
- Follow food safety standards and maintain store cleanliness.
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and help reduce waste.
- Handle cash, reconcile registers, and assist with opening and closing.
- Support the General Manager with staffing, scheduling, and store goals.
- Ensure team members follow company policies and required break procedures.
