As an Assistant Manager, you’re an essential part of the store’s success. You’ll support leadership, help guide the team, and ensure every guest leaves happy (and satisfied!).
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins)
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Cash handling and customer service experience required
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience (Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role preferred)
- 1–2 years of food service or retail experience preferred
- General knowledge of food service or pretzel operations is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Support store leadership in daily operations and overall store performance
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Help maintain high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and basic reporting
- Handle team and guest concerns with professionalism and confidence
- Step in to oversee operations when leadership is not present
