The Assistant Manager is responsible for partnering with the Floor Director and Managing Director to successfully run all aspects of the business including building sales, identifying opportunities, and client development via CRM and service initiatives, coaching and counseling of staff. This role involves daily supervision of staff, including coaching, training, and assistance in achieving sales objectives. The Assistant Manager demonstrates an active management presence on the sales floor, modeling exceptional service and ensuring all team members embody the Hermès spirit. Key responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, contributing to performance evaluations, communicating and ensuring compliance with CRM standards and company policies, monitoring staff time and attendance, and organizing seasonal trainings. The Assistant Manager also assists in recruiting and interviewing, and makes critical client decisions, running the business in the absence of the Floor Director/Managing Director.
