About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is currently looking for Assistant Managers. This role offers a starting salary of $20.00 per hour, with an increase to $21.00 per hour for those possessing a New York State Inspectors license. The Assistant Manager (AM) works under the direction of a Service Center Manager (SCM) and assists in various aspects of customer care, facility maintenance, and merchandising. The AM ensures equipment is in proper working order and housekeeping standards are met, while strictly following all policies and procedures related to POS transactions, inventory, cash handling, and returns. They collaborate with the management team to address customer service issues and business opportunities, and drive sales goals through personal engagement and coaching of team members. The AM also assists in monitoring productivity, workflow, and safety within the service center. They are responsible for effective communication with all team members, management, and customers. In the absence of management, the AM acts as the primary supervisor, coordinating operational activities and holding key responsibilities for opening and closing procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Previous management experience a must

In the absence of any management, the AM will act as the primary supervisor for the service center, observing / coordinating operational activities
