About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, handle money accurately, and use a computer or touch screen for order entry. Navigational skills are essential for deliveries, including reading maps and locating addresses within a designated area, as well as navigating various terrains and multi-story buildings. The job also entails working in diverse conditions, including varying weather, in-store temperatures, and exposure to food odors and dust. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand-eye coordination is crucial for various tasks, including dough shaping, using tools, and assembling boxes. Delivery duties involve driving within a designated area and carrying products to customer doors.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Must possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Standing for extended periods.
Walking for short distances for short durations.
Lifting cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough.
Pushing to move trays which are placed on dollies.
Climbing stairs or a ladder.
Forward bending at the waist.
Crouching/Squatting performed occasionally.
Reaching continuously; up, down and forward.
Driving pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Use of one or both hands is continuous during the day.
Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
Must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
