About The Position

The Assistant Manager's primary purpose is to assist in supervising and directing daily operations of an Abby’s Restaurant to assure quality food, sanitation, beverage preparation, and customer service. The position is responsible to learn and demonstrate technical and managerial skills and attitudes necessary to manage an Abby’s as profitably and as professionally as possible. The Assistant Manager may be responsible for supervision of personnel and completion of administrative duties at the direction of the Manager. The position assists in communicating and reinforcing quality standards with staff in every area of restaurant operations. The position is responsible for learning the proper procedures and standards for the production of quality food and beverage, and then assisting in the maintenance of those procedures and standards. The position is to learn and develop skills to coordinate and guide subordinate activities to maximize productivity and ensure efficient customer flow. The position is responsible to assist in stimulating positive employee morale and minimize employee turnover. Successful completion of a Background Check and Drug Screen required for this position.
