About The Position

This role assists the Store Manager in maximizing sales results through sales, merchandising, and operations. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining personal sales results while training and directing the team to provide excellent customer service. They will execute Head Office product direction and make store-specific product decisions to drive sales. Additionally, they will be responsible for opening and closing the store, including reconciling the register, managing markdowns, processing transfers, setting up promotions, conducting inventory audits, and performing store execution audits.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to maximize sales results.
  • Experience in training and directing a team.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Understanding of merchandising principles and execution of product direction.
  • Proficiency in store operations, including opening/closing procedures, register reconciliation, markdowns, transfers, promotion setup, and inventory audits.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize personal and store sales results through selling, maintaining, and covering zones.
  • Assist the Store Manager in maximizing sales results in the areas of sales, merchandising, and operations.
  • Maintain personal sales results while training and directing the team to provide customer service.
