This role is for an Assistant Manager position. Team members are responsible for operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Communication skills, including verbal and written communication, are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for orders and change, computer/touch screen order entry, and navigational skills for deliveries. The role involves exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions during deliveries. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, differentiating hot and cold surfaces, and far/night vision for driving. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching continuously. Additional duties include driving for deliveries, maintaining cost controls, inventory, cash control, customer relations, and adhering to all policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities also include staffing, paperwork, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining image and standards, customer service, attendance, punctuality, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
