About The Position

The Assistant Manager is a frontline leader responsible for keeping the restaurant running smoothly, supporting the management team, energizing Teammates, and ensuring memorable Guest experiences. The role involves learning all aspects of restaurant operations and developing the skills needed to advance into larger leadership roles, including Restaurant Manager. Maggiano's provides hands-on coaching, accountability, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
• Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands.
• Ability to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences.
• Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle Guest concerns professionally and with a solutions-first approach.
• Support hiring, training, and development of new Teammates.
• Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives.
