About The Position
This role involves leading a team of 4-5 confined space trained employees in performing bin cleaning and product transfer duties. The work is conducted in various agricultural environments and requires comfort with confined spaces, including darkness, tight spaces, and particle-filled air. Responsibilities include entering bins from the side or top, scraping walls and bottoms, and transferring product using vacuum systems. The role also involves working at heights and potentially in confined spaces.
Requirements
- Comfortable with regional travel requiring some distance and long duration in managing projects
- Experience with heavy equipment and agriculture knowledge a plus
- Experience with a vacuum truck a plus
- Class B CDL preferred
- Travel 2 weeks at a time
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4 or 5 confined space trained employees
- Perform bin cleaning and product transfer duties using vac systems and other cleaning devices
- Enter confined spaces to perform cleaning duties
- Scrape down bin walls and bin bottoms
- Move product from one place to another using vac systems
- Perform confined space work
