About The Position

Park Oaks Apartments on Lake Avenue in Metairie is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Assistant Manager to join their team. This role involves assisting future residents with tours, coordinating the apartment make-ready process, responding to inquiries, guiding new residents through the leasing process, building resident relationships, assisting with marketing and events, and maintaining accurate records. Every day presents new opportunities to create an exceptional living experience for the community.

Requirements

• A background in sales, customer service, or hospitality.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Experience with property management software.
• A positive, goal-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for helping people.
• Flexibility to work an occasional Saturday when needed.

• Property management experience is a plus!
• AppFolio experience is a bonus, but we're happy to train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging tours of the apartment community to future residents.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and vendors to ensure apartment homes are move-in ready and on schedule.
• Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
• Guide new residents through the leasing journey, from application to move-in day.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and help create a community they are proud to call home.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, resident events, and community outreach.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
