About The Position

The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below. This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include strong communication, basic math for monetary transactions, order processing via computer or touch screen, and good eye-hand coordination. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and cramped quarters. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Reaching, both up and down, is continuous. Hand tasks require continuous use, including forceful pinching for box assembly and grasping various items. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. For team members in driver or store management positions, additional duties include delivering product by car and to the customer's door, and delivering flyers. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying product. Physical demands include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during deliveries, driving within a designated area, walking between the store and delivery vehicle and to the customer's location, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and require far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Requires valid drivers license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
