About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of operational duties within the store, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and managing customer orders. The position also requires inventory management, cleaning, and effective communication with both customers and coworkers. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for transactions, verbal and written communication, motor coordination for precise movements, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying of supplies up to 60 pounds, pushing trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks are essential and continuous, involving shaping dough, manipulating tools, pinching to assemble boxes, and grasping various items. Team members may also be required to use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivery responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking, climbing stairs (up to five flights), and driving within a designated delivery area, often in varying weather conditions. Far and night vision are necessary for driving.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
