You start with a huddle, assign bays, and keep the workflow steady so customers get safe and timely service. You are on the floor with your team, coaching and stepping in where needed. You talk with customers to explain options clearly and get them back on the road confidently. No desk is required. Your Everyday Work Includes Busting tires: Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean new tires and wheels Coaching a team: Train, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 technicians Managing: Organize new and existing inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts Delighting customers: Providing an inviting, easy, and safe customer experience Growing: Learn by doing with hands-on, on-the-job training and development
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excel in a team environment
- Have an upbeat and positive outlook
- Be able to function well in a physically demanding environment
- Be dedicated and reliable
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Automotive enthusiasm
- Some management experience and/or college course work is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean new tires and wheels
- Train, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 technicians
- Organize new and existing inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts
- Providing an inviting, easy, and safe customer experience
- Provide an excellent customer service experience in sales and service
- Empower customers with product knowledge
- Inventory management
- Installation and maintenance of tires/wheels, rotations, balancing and repairs
- Training and guidance for Tire Service Technicians
- Leading a team of 4-5 technicians in an indoor/outdoor service environment
