About The Position

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the operation of all equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, counting inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training will include customer service orientation, interactive computer programs, and hands-on practice. This role requires strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication. Pizza delivery skills are also necessary, involving safe driving, navigation, and carrying products. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations for monetary change, with the potential use of a calculator. The role also involves general physical demands such as standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, and grasping, as well as tolerating varying temperatures and conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and written with customers/co-workers over the phone and in person
  • Ability to safely drive own vehicle
  • Ability to navigate roads/maps, adverse terrain/stairs of delivery sites while carrying products
  • Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide accurately to make correct monetary change (may use calculator)
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders/stairs, stoop/bend, crouch/squatt, reach, grasp with hands to use machines-tools-equipment-work aids
  • Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures/conditions inside and outside
