About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning the facility. Additionally, the position requires delivering product by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers. The job also includes training and leading team members. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for orders and change, effective verbal and written communication, computer/touch screen order entry, cost control maintenance, and navigational skills for deliveries. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct, perform repetitive tasks, work with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, driving, pushing, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching and hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Have open availability.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Ability to maintain cost controls.
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Responsibilities
