About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of tasks within a store environment, including customer service, food preparation, delivery, and team support. This position requires physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching. Responsibilities extend to operating equipment, driving for deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also includes administrative duties such as paperwork.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform most tasks from a standing position, with work surfaces between 36" and 48" high.
Walk for short distances for short durations.
Travel between the store and delivery vehicle, and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
Complete paperwork, typically in an office at a desk or table.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Lift and stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carry items such as large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs each).
Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries.
Push or pull trays on dollies.
Navigate stairs or climb a ladder infrequently for tasks like changing prices on signs or performing maintenance.
Stoop/bend forward at the waist continuously during the day at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients.
Crouch/squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reach continuously (up, down, and forward) for various tasks including operating oven controls, changing sign prices, stocking shelves, scooping ingredients, washing dishes, and cleaning work surfaces.
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area using a car.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
