About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment involves varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and continuous hand use, including forceful pinching and grasping. Delivery duties require a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs in various weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
  • Prepare product
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
  • Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
