About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, including shaping pizza dough, using a pizza peel and rolling cutter, and pinching to assemble boxes. Team members must be able to grasp various items. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customers, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry product while navigating various terrains and buildings. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Delivery personnel are also exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
