Luna Wireless is seeking candidates with hustle and ambition for unlimited potential to join their team as an Assistant Manager. This role works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team to deliver T-Mobile’s aspirations of earning a place in our customers’ hearts and Mobile Associate success. The Assistant Manager is responsible for infusing every store’s Mobile Assistant with a passion for T-Mobile’s Manifesto by thoroughly orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers. They ensure that every customer need is met and that employees build customer confidence by making their experience comfortable, simple, and by solving the whole problem. This role involves completing observations of Mobile Associate interactions with customers, including feedback, for development, training & coaching conversations. The Assistant Manager effectively manages customer wait time, stays current on products, services, and promotions, and leads by example by staying up-to-date on the latest products, services, training, and leadership best practices to remain an expert resource to the team. They interact directly with Mobile Associates to ensure they meet and/or exceed defined, monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time. Additionally, the Assistant Manager assists in maintaining the quality of the overall store environment and adheres to national plan-o-gram standards, uses visual displays and interactive devices effectively, keeps visual displays and devices current, and assists in the execution of Retail Methods & Procedures. They ensure team knowledge of store systems and corporate/store communications, deliver financial results based on key performance indicators, identify ways to manage and control store expenses, and manage discounting and credits.
