About The Position

We are developing a management team of leaders to create a fun, energetic team while meeting goals and standards. We have positions for all levels of management, whether you have little or no management experience, or are a seasoned manager.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 or less moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Must not have had any drug or alcohol related motor vehicle violations in the last 5 years.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to understand and communicate written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work under the stress of a fast-paced work environment where quality and integrity are demanded.
  • Be self-motivated, focused, determined, and goal oriented.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication on telephone and in person.
  • Possess near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, and depth perception.
  • Possess far vision and night vision (for delivery personnel).
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
  • Ability to stand for most tasks on surfaces like ceramic tile, concrete, or linoleum.
  • Ability to walk frequently for short distances and durations, including between the store and customer vehicles/locations.
  • Ability to sit for paperwork and driving.
  • Ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry dough trays (approx. 12 pounds), cases of products (up to 25 pounds), and cases of pizza sauce (30 pounds).
  • Ability to push/pull trays or products on dollies requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds.
  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder, including five or more flights of stairs for delivery.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Ability to perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station and front counter.
  • Ability to reach continuously (up, down, and forward), including above 72 inches and down to scoop.
  • Possess eye-hand coordination and continuous use of hands.
  • Ability to shape pizza dough requiring frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Ability to manipulate a pizza peel and different pizza cutters.
  • Ability to perform frequent and/or forceful pinching for the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter, the pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shifts, overseeing all operations.
  • Work towards company goals including cost controls such as inventory, labor, and cash control.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a quality product.
  • Set an example for the team by following all company policies and procedures and holding team members accountable.
  • Meet cost control and service goals.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols.
  • Manage store organization and cleanliness to acceptable standards.
  • Utilize e-mail, phone applications, web-based software, pdf viewer, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Contribute to company profitability and understand the process (for Manager Trainees).
  • Staff, train, and lead a team that contributes to company goals (for Manager Trainees).
  • Remain current in hiring and marketing best practices (for Manager Trainees).
  • Track and report Food Cost Variance (for Manager Trainees).
  • Meet and schedule Labor Requirements (for Manager Trainees).
  • Attend to and hold team meetings (for Manager Trainees).
  • Understand different temperaments and how to manage them (for Manager Trainees).
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Operate all store equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare products.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
