About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, order entry via computer or touch screen, and good hand-eye coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes varying temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking on various surfaces, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, with frequent and/or forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, using tools, and assembling boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain like multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product while walking and climbing, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving. Sensing requirements for driving include far vision and night vision.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
