About The Position
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with all aspects of store operations, providing leadership that optimizes sales results. The role promotes a positive customer shopping experience while leading and inspiring a high-performing team to improve operational efficiency and drive traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. The Assistant Manager contributes to day-to-day store operations, inventory management, sales, and customer satisfaction. The role also maintains brand and visual merchandising standards and supports inventory management through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and e-commerce order fulfillment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Two years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion, an outgoing personality, and a passion for exceptional customer service.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in responding to changing business conditions and contributing ideas and solutions.
- Ability to foster participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
- Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
- Social media and mobile device skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
