About The Position

This role involves managing store operations, including equipment operation, inventory management, product preparation, customer service via phone and in-person, and maintaining cleanliness. Team members are responsible for stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, and taking inventory. Training is provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers. The role requires accurate mathematical skills for order processing and making change, as well as computer/touch screen proficiency. Navigational skills are needed for deliveries, including navigating various terrains and multi-story buildings. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to dust and fumes, and hot surfaces. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling carts, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination are crucial for tasks like shaping dough and using tools. Driving is a key component for delivering products within a designated area.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.
  • Standing for most tasks.
  • Walking for short distances for short durations.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds).
  • Carrying large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs each).
  • Pushing to move trays on dollies (up to 7.5 pounds of force).
  • Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders.
  • Forward bending at the waist.
  • Crouching/Squatting performed occasionally.
  • Reaching continuously (up, down and forward).
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day.
  • Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Ability to grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
