This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Team members are provided with on-the-job training. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, verbal and written communication, eye-hand coordination for rapid and accurate movements, computer/touch screen order entry, and navigational skills for deliveries. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, differentiating hot/cold surfaces, and far/night vision for driving. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing for most tasks, walking for short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce and dough trays, pushing dollies, and climbing stairs or ladders. Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching are also continuous or occasional requirements. Driving is a key component for delivering pizzas within a designated area, and requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and an insured vehicle.
