About The Position
Purdys Chocolatier is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join their team at the Hillside Shopping Centre location. This role supports the Shop Manager in achieving overall profitability and smooth operation of the shop, while also providing leadership and effective management to the retail staff. It's an excellent opportunity to build a career in retail by selling award-winning chocolate products and premium ice cream. Success in this role comes from engaging with customers, driving sales, and working effectively in a team environment. This is a permanent full-time position requiring open availability for all types of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least two years of management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.
- Self-motivated and driven for results.
- Enthusiastic about selling a quality product.
- Dedicated to providing a great customer experience.
- Energetic and enjoy meeting new people.
- Excited about working with a team and building a career and growing within Purdys Chocolatier.
- Available for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
