Our purpose is to "feed the power of possible, one pizza at a time" while focusing on growth and community. As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example and follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. In addition, your responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining perfect image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance & punctuality, managing transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate all equipment.
  • Ability to stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Ability to prepare product.
  • Ability to receive and process telephone orders.
  • Ability to take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Ability to clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Ability to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Ability to stand for most tasks.
  • Ability to walk in short distances for short durations.
  • Ability to sit for paperwork completion.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry items such as large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs).
  • Ability to push trays on dollies (up to 7.5 pounds of force).
  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
  • Ability to bend at the waist.
  • Ability to crouch/squat occasionally.
  • Ability to reach continuously (up, down, and forward).
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Ability to use one or both hands continuously.
  • Ability to shape pizza dough requiring frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Ability to manipulate a pizza peel and rolling cutter.
  • Ability to pinch for assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Ability to grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Ability to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
  • During delivery, ability to carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
  • Ability to deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Ability to travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
  • During delivery, ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs may be required.
  • Ability to drive.
