Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
  • Standing for most tasks.
  • Walking for short distances for short durations.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking shelves up to 72 inches high.
  • Carrying large cans (3 lbs 7 oz) and occasionally pizza sauce (30 pounds).
  • Pushing to move trays on dollies (up to 7.5 pounds of force).
  • Infrequent climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients.
  • Occasional crouching/squatting to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Continuous reaching (up, down, and forward).
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous.
  • Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough.
  • Talking and hearing on the telephone.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Set the example for the team and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility.
  • Support and push the team to improve.
  • Drive the store's fun culture and sell more pizza.
