About The Position
An amateur jumper rider is seeking an assistant manager to help with the daily operations of their approximately 8-horse stable, located in Lexington, KY and Wellington, FL. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the barn and the well-being of the horses.
Requirements
- Experience with horse show entries
- Ability to flat well
- Ability to lunge properly
- Familiarity with WEF show grounds
Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day barn chores
- Managing horse show entries
- Lunging horses
- Riding approximately 2 horses per day
- Scheduling
- General barn management
