About The Position
This role is for an Assistant Manager/Shift Runner responsible for various operational duties. The position involves preparing products, managing inventory, receiving orders, cleaning, training new hires, creating schedules, and managing food and labor costs during their shift. Strong communication skills are essential for leading a team effectively. The role requires the ability to comprehend and provide clear instructions, both verbally and in writing, and to interact with customers and coworkers to process orders accurately.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- All employees must use any and all Domino’s technology implemented by the Company
- All drivers must use the Driver app
- All CSR must make use of the Dominos Digital Shoulder surf (DSS)
- All employees must use the Domino’s Car Side Delivery
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare all products
- Use all proprietary technology
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Responsible for Orientation to any new hires as well as continued on the job training for all other employees on store products and procedures
- Responsible for inventory counts
- Responsible for making the schedule and staffing the store
- Responsible for running food and labor while they are in charge of their shift
- Must have good communication Skills in order to lead an effective team
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
- Make several deliveries per shift
