As an Assistant Manager, you are the frontline leader who keeps the restaurant running smoothly — supporting the management team, energizing Teammates, and ensuring every Guest has a memorable experience. You'll learn all aspects of the operation while building the skills to advance into larger leadership roles. This is where management careers begin at Maggiano's. Requirements

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service
  • Ability to lead by example and energize a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Able to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands
  • Able to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences
  • Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Handle Guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first approach
  • Support hiring, training, and development of new Teammates
  • Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives
