About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of operational duties including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders (phone and in-person), inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The role requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, and the ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions. Essential functions include accurate order entry, making correct change, and performing tasks requiring fine motor skills and speed. The work environment can involve exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and collaboratively, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Reaching is performed continuously in various directions. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and can involve forceful use of forearms and wrists, pinching, and grasping various items. Tools and equipment used may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivery responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to deliver products and marketing materials to customers. This involves carrying products, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Delivery personnel will also experience varying weather conditions and require far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
