About The Position

The Assistant Manager performs general operational duties, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice.

The role requires communicating with customers and co-workers verbally and in writing, both over the phone and in person. Pizza delivery duties involve safely driving the employee’s own vehicle, navigating roads and maps, and handling adverse terrain and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. The position also requires basic arithmetic to make accurate monetary change, with a calculator permitted.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to safely drive an own vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs while carrying products.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing ladders and stairs, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, reaching, and grasping.
