About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for all aspects of shift operations, including cost controls, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations. This role requires setting a positive example, adhering strictly to all company policies and procedures, and ensuring the crew does the same. Key duties include staffing, managing paperwork, controlling costs and cash, overseeing food management, working according to a schedule, maintaining store image and standards, providing excellent customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, managing transportation to and from work, maintaining store cleanliness, contributing to marketing efforts, and driving profitability. The role also involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing phone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility regularly.

  • Deliver personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
  • Complete paperwork while sitting at a desk or table.
  • Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck, with cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
  • Carry large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces) from workstation to storage shelves.
  • Occasionally carry pizza sauce (30 pounds) from the storage room to the front of the store.
  • Carry trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds per tray) over short distances.
  • Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries while performing walking and climbing duties.
  • Push to move trays placed on dollies.
