About The Position

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is for individuals who are natural leaders and are ready to take on more responsibility. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You will set the example for the crew by following all policies and procedures 100% of the time. This is a challenging but rewarding position with a company that offers a fun and flexible work environment. The experience gained in this role will be valuable for a long time to come.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

  • Pushing to move trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 pounds).
  • Climbing stairs or a ladder infrequently.
  • Stooping/Bending at the waist.
  • Crouching/Squatting occasionally.
  • Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward).
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous.
  • Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven and using the rolling cutter.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

  • Operate all equipment.

  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
