About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, order processing, and computer/touch screen use. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions.

For team members in driver or store management positions, additional duties include delivering product by car, delivering flyers, and maintaining a safe driving record. Essential skills for drivers include navigation, map reading, and the ability to navigate various terrains while carrying product. Physical demands for drivers include carrying product during deliveries, driving within a designated area, walking between the store and vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Drivers may also be exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Valid drivers license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Benefits

• The rate of pay for this position is the applicable minimum wage with the potential of an additional $0.50 to $2.50 per hour depending upon experience and length of service with the employer.
