About The Position

This role involves managing store operations, including customer service, order processing, inventory management, and food preparation. Team members are responsible for operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and maintaining cleanliness. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle transactions accurately, and proficiency in using computer systems or touch screens for order entry. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, effective verbal and written communication, and good eye-hand coordination for precise movements. The role also involves navigating various work environments, including extreme temperatures and cramped spaces, and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Standing for most tasks.
  • Walking for short distances for short durations.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough.
  • Pushing to move trays on dollies.
  • Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
  • Forward bending at the waist.
  • Crouching/Squatting occasionally.
  • Reaching continuously; up, down and forward.
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day.
  • Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Manipulate a pizza peel.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
