About The Position

Woodspear Properties is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager for a 276-unit multifamily community located in Denver. The ideal candidate will assist the Property Manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations, including leasing, marketing, rent collection, deposit accounting, accounts payable, resident relations, and general office administration. The Assistant Property Manager will also assist with leasing efforts, including responding to inquiries, conducting tours, presenting property features, preparing leasing documentation, tracking renewals and expirations, and organizing resident retention programs and events. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a stable and supportive property management environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in property management or similar administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must pass a background check, including credit, criminal history, references, and drug screening.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi, On-Site, or AvidXchange.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations, including leasing, marketing, rent collection, deposit accounting, accounts payable, resident relations, and general office administration.
  • Process rent payments and deposits.
  • Perform daily input and reporting through Yardi or similar systems.
  • Reconcile security deposits and move-out charges.
  • Monitor aged accounts.
  • Coordinate eviction and collection procedures.
  • Handle accounts payable and vendor communications.
  • Prepare monthly audits and quarterly reports.
  • Maintain accurate resident and vendor files.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries.
  • Conduct property tours.
  • Present property features.
  • Prepare leasing documentation.
  • Track lease renewals and expirations.
  • Organize resident retention programs and events.
